Currently full-time machine operator for an Earthworks company doing Civil construction work since moving home from Australia late 2018.
I have lived and breathed 2 wheels my entire life, riding motorbikes around our childhood dairy farm from age 2 which evolved to racing motocross and winning a NZ Junior motocross title, NZ Grand Prix and numerous South Island titles. My best senior result was NZ #7 in the MX1 class, first privateer to finish.
I had to step away from motocross late teens as financially our family couldn’t afford it, and I was completing an apprenticeship in automotive refinishing. After completing that I returned for approx. 4 years until an accident at a race had me swapping to downhill mtb. We made the move to Victoria, Australia some months after my accident which had me focusing solely on both enduro and downhill mountain biking as they were cheaper sports to fund, and easier to do while overseas.
I rode a lot of kms over those first few years, and by the time we moved home late 2018 I had become a top Victorian rider. The bug for racing moto never goes away though, and I’ve been lucky enough to fit racing moto into my schedule while staying at the top of my game in enduro.
My career highlights in mtb include: Enduro wins and going on to place 25th in Australia’s first Enduro
World Series held in Tasmania, Whistler Canada Crankworx Amateur Enduro winner.
My biggest achievement to date would be Elite New Zealand National Enduro champ 2024.
My career highlights in moto include:
- South Island MX1 2023
- 30-35yrs Vet National 2023
- MX1 Grand Prix 9th 2024
- NZ Junior champ
- NZ MX1 7th NZ
