Complementing the frame are a new high-rigidity front fork and long-stroke rear suspension, along with a powerful braking system. Built with the same “Built to Win” spirit that defines the full-size KX models, the new machine is engineered to give young racers a competitive edge.

For 2026, the KX112 offers a roomier rider triangle, wider handlebar, greater ERGO-FIT adjustability, and a host of high-grade, big-bike-style ergonomic components designed for enhanced control and comfort.

Designed to deliver both ample power across the rev range and strong top-end performance, the 112cc 2-stroke single-cylinder engine offers winning potential in a highly competitive class. In particular, the KX112 benefits from strong low-end torque, helping propel riders forward in a wide variety of racing situations.

The front fork features larger-diameter ø43 mm inner tubes and now includes rebound damping adjustability. At the rear, a new shock offers full adjustability. Revised linkage delivers 305 mm of wheel travel—on par with that of Kawasaki’s full-size KX models.

A larger ø240 mm front disc paired with the same caliper body and master cylinder used on the KX250 offers stronger braking force, enhanced durability, and improved controllability. At the rear, a larger ø220 mm disc and reduced lever play contribute to more precise brake control.

Dunlop’s latest tyres improve on the performance of their predecessors, Geomax MX33, in a number of areas: increased traction, increased brake grip, increased cornering grip, improved mud-shedding ability, more effective slide control, and better front-end feel.

A sturdy perimeter frame, designed to harness the engine’s power, offers the advantages of strength and torsional rigidity, allowing riders to push hard on the track. A longer head pipe increases front-end rigidity, while weight reduction across multiple components contributes to weight savings.

Like Kawasaki’s top motocross machines, the bold, functional design reflects the race-winning potential of these models. Factory-inspired touches like the aggressive shrouds, black rims, and green alumite suspension adjusters reinforce the KX family image. A new number plate, front fender, and fork guards create a modern front-end look that completes the updated styling.

The minimalist bodywork, flat tank and slim, flat seat were designed to facilitate moving around on the bike.

The handlebar grips were moved 50 mm forward and widened by 35 mm. The footpegs were lowered by 10 mm. The larger rider triangle and wider handlebar create more room for active body movement.

ERGO-FIT handle adjustability includes an upper triple clamp with two sets of handle mount slots and reversible handle mounts for four forward/rear positions, while collars offer two selectable heights. A choice of eight positions allows riders to tailor their riding position.

A new aluminium Renthal Fatbar contributes to weight reduction and improved shock absorption. The handlebar is paired with ODI Lock-On grips, offering excellent grip feel.

Newly designed footpegs—wider in the front-rear direction—provide excellent grip, superb feel, and facilitate weighting the pegs.
